SALON Lecce, Italy 2015

cakeOnce again I return inspired from the annual Salon, held in Lecce, Italy. Salon is an annual, international event for decorative painters and this year, we celebrated our 20th year.  I’ve been lucky enough to attend every one.

Here is the group photo.

These next 3 pictures are of Paolo Bellow’s great work.  He is a local participant.  He uses dry pigments – amazing.

    Dear Pierre,
Working on faux wood and marble for a client…Your book is precious.
Looking at your site , I notice the Salon in Lecce in 2015…I just returned from this superb baroque city 3 weeks ago! I am about to return and spend another two weeks and paint there. I met many painting/school organisation right where my friends rented an apartment and appreciated the making of all sort of figures in Cartapesta.
Looking for the adequate varnish for an outside faux tiles on concrete floor. Any suggestions?

  2. ACK! OMG – such an amazing collection of the best talent in the world. How wonderful it must have been to be there. Sean’s piece is amazing – how lucky is Nicola?

Stefano’s piece is so fantastic and it made me LOL. I love it when I see such a master able to make fun of his own work.

I’m curious, what binder does Paolo Bellow use? Do you know?

Thanks so much for this post. Much appreciated.
